OK, I'd like to know just how long you guys think the use of the spelling "kitteh" will still seem cool before it starts to just seem really dated?

fraggle: i considered the choice carefully, based my decision to use the ridiculous spelling on three reasons:

it's still popular now and this isn't supposed to go on forever
using the ending of a particular theological name in conjunction with a spoof of a religious meme was too delicious a pun to pass up
the possibility of people finding this blog when looking for a cheap hooker seemed too high if it were titled "what would kitty do?"

widget: spelling? computer? spider? look, it's a spider! play with spider!

about fraggle

fraggle comes from a genius, devious feline pedigree. her mom followed the biggest cat in the neighborhood home and promptly went into labor in the middle of the room. the day fraggle opened her eyes, she thought 'what are all these other little furry things?' and clawed her way up the sofa to sit with the rest of the important people.
her hobbies include opening doors, beating up foxes, leaving live snakes under catastrophegirl's bed and exterminating all the bunnies and birdies she can get her claws into.
she's the smart one.

about widget

widget was born in a barn. he grew up inside the house and refused to go outside until forced to spend some time pondering the consequences for peeing on his aunt's new dining room floors. once outdoors he decided he liked the pastoral life and showed his joy by hunting voles, endangered moths and occasionally crunchy beetles.
his hobbies include whining at nothing, vomiting in every room of the house in quick succession, getting people to open the big door even though he has a cat flap and defending his home turf from the feral cat colony down the road.
he's not the smart one.
